Telemann - not space, not emotion, popular.

Palestrina - a capella.

Purcell - soft vocals. Little instruments.

D Scarlatti - only harpsichord.

Most difficult will be to distinguish Ravel and Debussy on this island.

This is a nice starting island. But some of composers will be harder to guess. (JS Bach, Beethoven, Chopin, Debussy, Glass, Mozart, Pérotin, Rachmaninov, Tchaikovsky, Vivaldi, Wagner...)

Tricky bits on this island are Organ compositions of Pérotin (that can sound JS Bach if you don't listen long enough) and piano Tchaikovsky, that can also in haste be messed up with Glass. (JS Bach, Glass, Pérotin, Tchaikovsky)

This island is not very balanced. Gluck has little music in database, I would suggest to play this island without Gluck. (JS Bach, Gluck, Handel, Haydn, Vivaldi)

Vivaldi and Bach are unexpectedly confusing on vocal pieces. The rest three can be simply recognized within 3 sec. (JS Bach, Glass, Perotin, Tchaikovsky, Vivaldi)

Chopin and Verdi seam easy to guess on this island, while you can spend much time trying to separate JS Bach, Handel and Telemann. How do you distinguish Telemann? (JS Bach, Chopin, Handel, Telemann, Verdi)

D Scarlatti has harpsichord pieces and vocal/choir/organ/orchestra piece in this game. So, the main action will take on this field. I think, Scarlatti sounds more classical/popular/harmonically static and less polyphonic/religious compared to JS Bach. (JS Bach, D Scarlatti)

JS Bach is generally more serious, religious, polyphonic. Vivaldi is more popular, linear, violin. (JS Bach, Vivaldi)

Not an easy comparison. Bach usually seems colder, serious, religious and cosmic. Handel is more warm, joyful, courtier with opera having contemporary sound. But this is not always the case. (JS Bach, Handel)
