Sir Harold Matthew Evans is a British-born journalist and writer who was editor of The Sunday Times from 1967 to 1981.
In 1984 he moved to the United States, where he had leading positions in journalism with US News and World Report, The Atlantic Monthly, and the New York Daily News.
