Eric Adam Avery is an American musician. He is best known as the former bass guitarist and co-founding member of alternative metal band Jane's Addiction. Avery has also been a touring bassist for Garbage. In 2008, Avery released a solo album, entitled Help Wanted, and a second in 2013 called LIFE.TIME.
