He is known for his roles in the Hollywood films Breaking Away, C.H.U.D., Diner, City Slickers, the first two Home Alone films, where he played bandit Marv Merchants, and as the voice-over narrator on the television series The Wonder Years as the present-day adult Kevin Arnold.
