Stephen T. "Steve" Jurvetson is an American businessman and venture capitalist. He is currently a partner of Draper Fisher Jurvetson. He was a venture capitalist investor in Hotmail. He also led the firm's investments in Tradex and Cyras. Current board seats include SpaceX, Synthetic Genomics, Planet Labs, Nervana Systems, Flux, D-Wave, and Tesla Motors. Jurvetson was the world's first Tesla Model S owner and the second Tesla Model X owner, following Elon Musk.
