Horace [-65--8] ROM

Ovid followed his example in creating a completely natural style of expression in hexameter verse, and Propertius cheekily mimicked him in his third book of elegies.

Ancient Roman poet.  His full name was Quintus Horatius Flaccus.  He was born in 65BC - died 85BC.  He was known as a famous roman satirist and poet. He was a friend of Virgil and attained fame with his "Satires, Epodes and Odes"
